Coaching and Mentoring

Facilitated by Roseann Gedye

Further your competence and confidence as a coach and mentor

Overview

There is often confusion over the terms ‘coaching’ and ‘mentoring’. We take time to examine the differences and similarities between them.
Coaching is performance driven with its purpose being to improve the individual’s job performance. Mentoring is more relationship orientated where issues are shared to develop the “protégés” professional and personal success. This course examines the process steps as well as utilises the key skill sets to develop effective coaching and mentoring. Trust is at the basis of the coaching and mentoring relationship.
